The Department of Computer Engineering offers Three Years Diploma Course in Computer Engineering awarded by Haryana State Board of Technical Education, Panchkula. The department was started in 2004 to meet the demand for well-qualified computer professionals. The intake of the course is 120 students. Department has well-qualified and dedicated faculty for the betterment of the students. The department has provided well equipped seven computer labs having 170 computer systems with the latest computer software and internet facility.

The Computer Engineering department works with the objective of addressing challenges faced by the Industry, society and the academics .The department is having highly qualified faculty whose complete objective is to provide a support center to our students so they continue to develop their technical skills. We in the Computer Engineering department focus on subjects like Cloud Computing, Data Management and Web Development and off course Basics of Computer.
The students in GP, Hisar are prepared with the skills required to face the challenges of future. They gain complete practical knowledge.

OPERATING SYSTEM LAB
The Lab is well equipped with Internet Facility and with a seating capacity of 30 students at a time. This Lab has been formed to provide the knowledge of Operating system like LINUX and WINDOWS and Database Management System and Networking of Computer systems. It helps in enhancing students in the field of database analysis and gets expertise thoroughly in Network arena which is a vast field and has a very wide scope.
PHP LAB
This Lab is well equipped with Internet Facility and with a seating capacity of 60 students at a time. This Lab is formed to learn PHP and MAD subject with Practical’s. This will make our students capable of handling with the latest technology.
MULTIMEDIA LAB
This Lab is well equipped with Internet Facility and with a seating capacity of 30 students at a time. This Lab is formed to learn Multimedia software like Director, Flash and also Web Framework practical’s to make our students capable of handling with the latest technology.
OBJECT ORIENTED PROGRAMMING LAB
The Lab is well equipped with Internet Facility and it has a seating capacity of 30 students at a time .As per the curriculum and latest trends, the lab is formed to provide our students knowledge of Python Language and JAVA language which are widely used in Industry by Computer Professionals.
DATA STRUCTURE LAB
The Lab is well equipped with Internet Facility and with a seating capacity of 30 students at a time. This Lab has been formed to provide the practical knowledge of C programming Language and Data structure concepts using C
IT & IOT LAB
This Lab is well equipped with Internet Facility and with a seating capacity of 30 students at a time. This Lab is specifically formed for first year students for IT and IOT practical’s. The lab is equipped with latest IOT kits to understand the concept of IOT as per curriculum.
PROJECT LAB
This Lab is well equipped with Internet Facility and with a seating capacity of 30 students at a time. In this lab the final year students do their projects under their supervisor and students also learn about Network security and Cloud Computing.
