Mechanical Engineering
Mech. Engg. diploma started in 1992 initially it had specialization in plant maintenance. Mech. Engg. Department has fully equipped Thermal Engg., Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Material & Metallurgy, Metrology, Material Testing, Applied Mechanics & Hydraulics & Pneumatics Lab. The department has a good workshop section which has welding shop, turning shop, machine shop, CNC lab having CNC train master lathe, CNC trainer milling machine, EDM etc. Special attention is given to computer aided design and manufacturing. The deptt. has got enough facilities & software to train students in CAD & CAM. The pass out students are well placed and currently holding good position in leading industries like JSHL, ISGEC Yamunanagar,JSW Karnataka, Sona Koyo Dharuhera, Sonalika Tractor Punjab, Daikin, Hitachi Astemo, Neemrana etc.

Mechanical Engg. enjoys the reputation of being one of the best and most pursued discipline in the field of diploma engg. The department of mechanical Engg. works in collaboration with the industries so as to prepare engineers to suit industry needs. The department has MoUs with training centre like MSME Rohtak and leading industries like Jindal Stainless Steels, Hisar, ISGEC Yamunanagar. The department has highly qualified and experienced faculty who is recognized for their capabilities, leadership and application of knowledge. Faculty helps the students to inculcate these qualities and technical skill. The department takes this opportunity to thanks all the students and parents who have reposed faith in mechanical stream.
