The Textile Technology department have well equipped labs and well qualified & dedicated staff members.
Sh. Rajesh Kadian, Lecturer acts as Officer in Charge for the department and looks all the affairs of the department along with departmental staff members.
Department of Textile Technology
The department of Textile Technology offers a three years course leading to diploma of the state board of technical Education, Haryana based on semester system established in 1995 under world bank project. The department is equipped with spinning lab, weaving lab, knitting lab and textile testing lab.
Spinning lab consists of sliver-lapper, Comber and Ring-Frame machine.
Weaving lab. consists of sectional warping machine, Pirn winding machine, handlooms and various power looms. Knitting lab is equipped with flat bed and circular knitting machines. Also there is adequate facilities for testing of fibers, Yarn and fabric in textile testing lab.
The department extends facilities for imparting the training to the students in manufacturing yarn, woven fabric, knitted fabric and testing different properties of fiber, yarn and fiber.
